Internet.com Acquires Swynk.com and Refer-it.com

Internet.com LLC has announced that it acquired Swynk.com and Refer-it.com. Both sites are now part of the expanding internet.com Network of websites and related Internet media properties.
Swynk.com is a leading provider of high-end technical information, resources, and tools for Microsoft software developers and administrators. The site provides comprehensive information on SQL Servers, SMS and other BackOffice products.
Refer-it.com is a search engine for revenue-sharing affiliate programs. Refer-it's database includes descriptions and ratings of over 500 affiliate and bounty programs, including those offered by Amazon), CDNow, and Barnes & Noble. Additionally, the site provides program managers database tools to monitor click-throughs and update their listings.
"These sites strengthen our strong positions with three key user groups - system administrators, Web developers and Web marketers," said Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of internet.com LLC.
In conjunction with the acquisitions, Swynk.com founder Stephen S. Wynkoop and Refer-it.com founder James L. Marciano have joined the staff of internet.com. "We are fortunate to have Steve and James join our team. We look forward to them contributing to the sites they've created as well as new internet.com initiatives," Meckler added.
