Jeannine Shao Collins Named Publisher of Better Homes and Gardens Magazine

Meredith Corporation has announced that Jeannine Shao Collins has been promoted to the position of Publisher of Better Homes and Gardens magazine, effective immediately. Previously, Shao Collins was Associate Publisher of Better Homes and Gardens.
Prior to being named Associate Publisher last January, Shao Collins was Advertising Director at Better Homes and Gardens for three years. She joined Meredith in 1993 as New York Advertising Manager for Ladies' Home Journal magazine. Prior to that, she held advertising sales management positions at Prevention magazine and Woman's Day.
"Jeannine has displayed tremendous leadership qualities during her tenure with Meredith," said Jerry Kaplan, Group Vice President of the Meredith Publishing Group. "She's smart, creative, decisive, absolutely committed to client service, and has played a large role in Better Homes and Gardens record success. I expect Better Homes and Gardens to continue to flourish under her guidance."
Shao Collins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Rochester. She replaces Alex Mironovich, who is leaving Meredith to accept a position with another company.
