eHobbies.com has announced an exclusive partnership with Kalmbach Publishing Co., a hobby book and magazine publisher. eHobbies will be Kalmbach's exclusive online partner, and, together, the companies will create six online mini-magazines containing feature articles, reviews, how-to articles, tips of the week as well as a directory of events on the eHobbies.com site. Kalmbach Publishing Co. publishes 14 magazines and more than 250 books in print.

Content will be integrated into eHobbies.com from Kalmbach's Model Railroader, Scale Auto Enthusiast, FineScale Modeler, Garden Railways, Classic Toy Trains and Trains magazines, which reach a total circulation of over 529,000. In addition, Kalmbach editors will host a series of chat sessions on eHobbies' community section. The partnership will also allow eHobbies to archive Kalmbach's product reviews and give its members the opportunity to subscribe to Kalmbach magazines.

``This exclusive partnership with Kalmbach will virtually double our already expansive content overnight,'' said Brad Sobel, CEO/co-founder, eHobbies.com. ``As a destination site catering to new and avid hobbyists, our goal has always been to partner with the best-of-breed publishers and experts in the industry to provide our members with the most comprehensive resources possible.''

``We're excited to be partnering with eHobbies.com and strengthening the hobby content and resources available to hobbyists,'' said Gerald Boettcher, president of Kalmbach Publishing Co. ``We look forward to joining eHobbies in helping millions of new people realize the joy of the hobbies we serve with our magazines, books and events.''
