Bruce Whiting said the company, which will launch its site this fall, is currently negotiating to acquire other legal sites as well.

"There is some terrific legal information on the web, but we believe the time has finally come to break down the barriers and make that information much more accessible and easier to use for business people, consumers and the legal community," said Whiting.

Whiting said law.com would provide the business community and individual consumers a comprehensive community for finding out about laws, cases, legal fees and lawyers. law.com will also feature thousands of downloadable legal forms.
