Posted on May 28, 1998

Computer Gaming World, a Ziff-Davis publication and the industry leader in providing content for computer gamers through print and on-line media, has announced the promotion of Lee Uniacke to Publisher. An 11-year Ziff-Davis veteran with expertise in sales, marketing and market research, Uniacke, 36, has served as Computer Gaming World Associate Publisher since 1996. Previously, Uniacke held sales and marketing positions on PC Magazine and sales management positions with other Ziff-Davis publications. Uniacke replaces Dale Strang, who was promoted to Publisher of Equip, Computer Gaming World's sister publication.

"Lee has done an outstanding job of overseeing the business side of Computer Gaming World as Associate Publisher," said Jon Lane, Group Publisher and Vice President of the Ziff-Davis Game Group. "He knows the game industry and he knows marketing. He was the natural choice to lead our flagship gaming publication."
