Mario Andretti Joins Champ Car Magazine Staff

Mario Andretti has joined the staff of Champ Car magazine, adding his unique perspective on the world of motorsports to this new title from Racer Communications that will launch in May. The former CART and Formula 1 champion will be a regular columnist.
"Champ Car racing is full of exciting things to write about, talk about and look forward to," said Andretti. "In this series you never, ever stop learning. You're always reaching, always trying different things-trying to get to the next level, the next dimension, and its fantastic to see a magazine come along with the energy and courage to portray all that.
According to editor Jeremy Shaw, that staff will include Gordon Kirby, Robin Miller, Bob Judd, John Oreovicz, John Szymanski and Eric Johnson. Four Champ Car contributors are also part of Racer's staff, including editor John Zimmermann, news editor Andrew Crask, CART editor David Phillips and illustrator Paul Laguette.
