McGraw-Hill & Warner Bros. Announce Educational Workbook Series

Posted on January 16, 1998

Warner Bros. Worldwide Publishing and The McGraw-Hill Companies have partnered to create an educational workbook series for home use featuring the Looney Tunes characters and the Warner brothers Yakko, Wakko and their sister Dot from "Steven Spielberg Presents Animaniacs."

A collaboration between Warner Bros. Worldwide Publishing and McGraw-Hill Learning Materials, the workbooks are written by educators to correspond to classroom curriculum, while the Looney Tunes and Animaniacs bring fun and entertainment to the learning experience.

The educational workbook series is for children ages 3-8, and is adapted from educational programs currently used in many classrooms. The well-known Looney Tunes and Animaniacs involve children in the learning process by engaging them in the workbook activities. The series features 20 books, each with up to 80 pages of full-color lessons such as colors, numbers, shapes and the alphabet for toddlers; and math, reading phonics, thinking skills and vocabulary for preschoolers through grade two.
