Mecklermedia Acquires WebReference.com and CoolCentral.com

Mecklermedia Corporation has acquired the well-known Web Developer sites WebReference.com and CoolCentral.com from Athenia & Associates. These sites will be added to the operations of Internet.com, Mecklermedia's online publishing division.

WebReference.com bolster's Internet.com's developer-oriented information that is offered on its WebDeveloper.com and Java Boutique sites.

WebReference.com and CoolCentral.com founders Andy King and Bob Peyser have joined the staff of Internet.com as a result of the acquisition.
