Mecklermedia Reacquires Rights to Magazine Licenses

Mecklermedia Corporation announced an agreement with VNU Business Publications (VNU BPL Limited) and Learned Information (Europe) Ltd. to buy back the remaining 75% interest in the Internet World U.K. trade show, as well as the rights to license its magazines Internet World, Web Week and Internet Shopper in continental Europe.

Clive Snell, Managing Director of Learned Information Europe added; "Mecklermedia was keen to resume 100% ownership of the show after a successful four year partnership, during which time the show has become the U.K.'s leading Internet event." Over 11,000 executives attended last year's Internet World U.K. trade show.
