Medscape, Inc., a professional medical site, is pleased to welcome three new journals to its growing roster of top-tier online medical journals. The new journals added are: The Journal of the American Board of Family Practice, the Journal of Clinical Densitometry, and Stitches, the Journal of Medical Humor.

The Journal of the American Board of Family Practice is a bimonthly publication indexed in the National Library of Medicine's Index Medicus/MEDLINE. The Journal publishes original papers pertaining to clinical investigations as well as case reports. It also reviews articles pertinent to the Family Practice specialty.

The Journal of Clinical Densitometry is the official journal of the International Society for Clinical Densitometry. Its mission is to educate physicians from different specialties regarding the clinical performance and interpretation/application of bone mass measurement technologies. The Journal's focus is bone mass measurement, how drugs and diseases alter bone mass and quality assurance in bone mass technologies.

Stitches, the Journal of Medical Humor, is a humorous addition to Medscape's publication lineup. It supplies witty, fun, and informative insights into the world of medicine-complete with dozens of New Yorker-esque cartoons.

"These three great journals add key content to Medscape's award-winning, multi-specialty site, which now boasts over 16,000 full-text clinical, news and other articles, and furthers Medscape's mission to educate, inform and entertain Medscape's 125,000 physicians," commented Steve Smith, Editorial Director of Medscape.
