Meredith Corporation Names Jacqueline Leo to New Publishing Group Post

Meredith Publishing Group President Christopher M. Little has announced that Jacqueline Leo will join Meredith Corporation as Editor-in-Chief of Interactive Services for the Meredith Publishing Group. This is a newly created position, based in New York. Leo will assume her new role on October 1, 1999.

As Editor-In-Chief, Leo will serve as the Publishing Group's senior editorial executive on all aspects of interactive services and provide strategic consultation to Meredith senior management on interactive issues. Additionally, Leo will oversee all editorial aspects of Meredith's new print-and-Web franchise, Shop Online 123, and serve as Editor-in-Chief of Family Money magazine and its website. She will report to Little.

"Jackie is one of the most respected magazine editors in America, and has extensive experience and skills in multimedia content; creation of successful brand extensions; and in magazine and Web site launches," said Little. "Her print, broadcast and Internet capabilities are a great fit for Meredith's multiplatform approach to content."
