Miller Freeman Announces Two Major Promotions at Key Technology Magazines

Miller Freeman, Inc. has announced the promotion of Christopher Keating to Group Publisher of Computer Telephony and Teleconnect Magazines and Ruthann Fisher to Publisher of Call Center Magazine.

Mr. Keating takes over the reins of Computer Telephony and Teleconnect. Mr. Keating is an 11-year technology publishing veteran, he most recently has been Publishing Director of Call Center Magazine.

"The revolution in communications makes Computer Telephony and Teleconnect Magazines crucial to decision makers responsible for corporate communications systems strategies," Keating said. "Our editorial and circulation strategy will ensure that our advertisers will continue to have the wonderful marketing success they've had in years past with these venerable magazines." Mr. Keating will be based in Miller Freeman's New York and Pennsylvania offices.

Ruthann Fisher, most recently publisher of Miller Freeman's Imaging and Document Solutions Magazine, is a 15-year publishing executive. She has experience in all facets of the telecommunications industry, holding senior sales positions on such publications as Computer Telephony, Teleconnect, LAN Magazine (now Network Magazine), and Inbound/Outbound, the original name of Call Center Magazine.

Both Keating and Fisher announced that the circulations of Computer Telephony and Call Center Magazines would be increasing in the 2000. Computer Telephony will increase to 120,000 controlled and Call Center will increase to 60,000 controlled.
