Posted on February 18, 2012

The Philadelphia Media Network Inc. (PMN) is looking to cut 37 jobs. CBS Philly says the already downsized company has a little over 60% of the employees it had 5 years ago - 550 jobs compared to 900. The company is offering voluntary buyouts. Philly.com reports that its parent company is seeking to make the cuts by the end of March.

There is also news that The Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and Philly.com are going to start sharing some news coverage. The two newspapers were once rivals.
