PHYS.com, an online service for women's health, fitness and nutrition, is introducing "pregnancy@phys," a website for up-to-date information on pregnancy, childbirth and baby care.

"We are thrilled that we are now able to offer women a groundbreaking, interactive experience that will give them access to the vital, accurate and reassuring information they will need before, during and after their pregnancy," says Rosanne Lufrano, editor-in-chief of PHYS.com. "Our mission here at PHYS.com is to provide useful tools that will help women make intelligent, healthful lifestyle choices. Pregnancy@phys along with our existing sections on fitness, nutrition and weight loss will ensure that women can get the breadth of services they need at any stage of their lives."

To provide expert content PHYS.com has teamed up with Dr. Miriam Stoppard, author of more than 15 internationally best-selling books on pregnancy, childcare and women's health. Visitors to pregnancy@phys can access the complete text of Dr. Stoppard's recently updated book, Conception, Pregnancy and Birth, free of charge. "PHYS.com shares my balanced, holistic approach to women's healthcare," says Dr. Stoppard. "I look forward to working with PHYS.com and using the site's innovative format to give women helpful insights into a range of issues -- from what to expect during their pregnancy, to how to diaper a baby, to how to get back in shape after the baby."
