React.com Joins America Online's Teen Channel

react.com has announced an agreement with America Online to become a content partner in AOL's Teen Channel and provide teenagers with immediate access to the react site.

Under the agreement, react.com, the popular Web destination for 12- to 17-year-olds and the companion site to react magazine, will supply original editorial content to AOL's Teen Channel, announced Susan Mernit, Director of New Media for react and Parade. In turn, AOL will offer its members react.com's interactive content at Keyword: React. "This alliance between AOL and react.com is a great fit for both companies," said Mernit. "AOL attracts a large audience of teens on the Internet, and react charts a weekly circulation of more than 4 million in print and on the Web. We're delighted to be working with AOL."

react.com, 1998 Folio Award winner for Best Online Publication, is one of the most popular Web destinations for boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 17. The site offers weekly feature articles, quizzes, games, polls and conversation about news, pop culture, relationships, and current issues. react.com currently has 2.3 million page views per month; users spend an average of 40 minutes per visit at the site. react, the weekly interactive magazine for teens from Parade Publications, has a readership of more than 4 million.
