RugbyRugby.com Announces Partnership With US National Rugby Team

RugbyRugby.com, a Rugby news website, has announced a partnership with the US National Rugby Team. In an exclusive, three-year agreement, RugbyRugby.com will serve as the official online news service of the Eagles. As part of the agreement, RugbyRugby.com will provide full coverage of all of the Eagles' games during the forthcoming Rugby World Cup.

Speaking from the Company's headquarters in Alabama, CEO Bernard Frei, an Englishman said, "US Rugby is changing more rapidly than we thought possible. The interest in the site has been nothing short of phenomenal. This will only increase with the Rugby World Cup, when we expect to generate over 5 million page views and attract over 1 million visitors."

"Our team needs fast and reliable news from around the rugby world, whether it's to track upcoming opponents or follow our boys in their club careers," said US National Team General Manager Jack Clark on announcing the link-up. "RugbyRugby.com covers the entire rugby world and has made a commitment to cover US rugby in depth."

Birmingham, Alabama-based e-Merchants Inc. launched RugbyRugby.com in April 1999 together with a group of Australian, English, French, and South African partners. The Rugby Union gateway provides a range of services for players, fans, and administrators, including a 24-hour news service, an online match scheduling service, club listings, fixtures, results, and a rugby club search engine.
