Scientific Learning Launches BrainConnection.com

Scientific Learning Corporation has announced the launch of BrainConnection.com and the site's online magazine, NeuroWire. Among the features offered on BrainConnection.com are articles in NeuroWire that focus on a range of issues and insights related to the brain. The online magazine will cover topics such as visual perception, developmental learning, aging and the brain, evolution of the brain, and profiles of major figures in brain research.

BrainConnection.com will also include daily news about brain research, reviews of articles from leading journals dealing with brain research, chat rooms and forums, links to other sites, and a customization feature allowing users to create a personalized home page. In addition, there will be panel discussions and interviews with leading authorities, coverage of new research presented at national and international conferences and seminars, curriculum tools, and textbook and glossary information.

The website and its online magazine will be officially launched during the Society for Neuroscience 29th Annual Meeting in Miami Beach, October 23 to 28, at a special event on Monday, October 25 at the Shelborne Beach Resort, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Society for Neuroscience is the world's largest organization of scientists and physicians dedicated to understanding the brain.
