Sports Illustrated Launches Website for Parents of Sports Active Children

Beginning on November 19, Sports Illustrated For Kids is launching a website designed specifically for parents of sports active children called Sportsparents.com. This new site offers information on preventing sports injuries, money saving tips for buying sports equipment, nutrition advice, and teaching children good sportsmanship.
Neil Cohen, Managing Editor of Sports Illustrated for Kids, says in a statement, "Sports Parents has consistently delivered solid service pieces to the parents of our subscribers. The feedback has always reflected how readers keep the magazine on hand and refer to it frequently for advice. Sportsparents.com allows us to extend the same useful advice to a much broader audience of parents and by publishing the information electronically, we are able to update it weekly and tackle issues related to kids and sports as they come up."
