SportsLine USA, Inc., publisher of CBS SportsLine, has announced it has signed an agreement with H & S Media, Inc., publisher of World of Wrestling (WOW) Magazine, to produce a comprehensive website for professional wrestling.

SportsLine USA will produce and host the newly launched WrestleLine which will become the online home of WOW Magazine, licensing exclusive content from the monthly publication. WOW Magazine debuted in March with a circulation of 400,000. The site will feature extensive content on wrestling's most popular promotions, including the World Wrestling Federation, World Championship Wrestling and Extreme Championship Wrestling and offer a host of wrestling merchandise.

With wrestling's fan base estimated at 35 million people, Entertainment Weekly reported that between 1997 and 1998, WWF broadcasts on the USA Network have experienced a 156 percent increase in ratings among viewers with four or more years of college, while the ratings among households with incomes of $50,000 or more have increased by 111 percent.

"Today's wrestling fans are a passionate audience," said Michael Levy, president and CEO of SportsLine USA. "Our relationship with WOW Magazine and H & S Media delivers that audience to the WrestleLine site. As is our goal with all of our products, we intend to provide wrestling fans with the highest quality content packaged with the most coveted merchandise on the web. This relationship will help us accomplish that objective."
