Study Finds 1 in 3 Moms Have Recently Read a Blog

The Parenting Group's 24/7 MomConnection study found that moms are using new media including blogs and video. While the study put magazines well ahead of blogs it did indicate that 32% of moms read a blog in the past week.

Moms have done the following things in the past week according to the study.

• 100% off mothers have watched TV, been online or listened to the radio in the past week
• 91% have shopped at a retailer store
• 88% have read a magazine
• 86% have used a cell phone.
• 33% watched video-on-demand
• 32% have read a blog
• 17% have listened to an iPod. <

So, blogs are crushing the iPod according to the study. The Center for Media Research says one interesting finding from the study was that "Blogs and newspapers get most of mom's attention, even if she's doing other things."
