T.H.E. Journal, a publisher of trends and applications in the educational technology market, has announced the acquisition of EduHound, a search engine for K-12 educators.

``EduHound.com is a clean, simple-to-navigate site that serves as a comprehensive resource for educators who want to better leverage the power of the Internet in their classrooms,'' said Wendy LaDuke, CEO and Co-Publisher, T.H.E. Journal. ``EduHound.com shares our core values to be a technology enabler for educators and to improve the quality of education.''

The newest division of T.H.E., EduHound.com will be led by Founder and President Judi Rajala, an independent educational technology instructor and former K-12 educator who has consulted for several Connecticut-based, state technology organizations.

``EduHound.com was designed to save educators time. The site serves as an effective starting point to find pre-screened educational links, while cutting through the clutter of the Internet,'' Rajala said. ``Teaming up with the education technology industry's most respected publisher, T.H.E. Journal, will allow us to take EduHound.com to the next level.''
