Writers Guild of America, West and Disney/ABC Announce Recipients of Writers Fellowships
Eight writers have been chosen from a field of more than 2,000
candidates to participate in the 10th year of the Walt Disney
Studios/ABC Writers Fellowship Program, it was announced by
John Wells, President of the Writers Guild of America, west,

Editorial Issues on The Web Conference
After the success of
the first Editorial Issues on the Web Conference which was originally
held in conjunction with Interactive Newspapers '97 in Houston this
past February, Editor & Publisher along with the American Press
Institute, the Associated Press Managing Editors Association and the
Foundation for American Communications is sponsoring it a second time
