and AOL Announce Teen Content Deal

Posted on February 7, 2005 has announced a partnership between its newest entertainment publication, Now Playing Magazine, and AOL's RED service for teens. Through this partnership, Now Playing Magazine will provide entertainment news - with coverage of movies, TV, games, DVDs, music, gadgets and more - for AOL's use within its teen-focused RED service weeks before the publication hits newsstands.

AOL says its RED service is a direct response to the recent surge in online usage by teenagers, which is a trend that's expected to grow to 22 million users by 2007.
