TheStreet.com Names Jonathan Krim Executive Editor

TheStreet.com, a lprovider of financial news and commentary, has announced that Jonathan Krim is joining the publication as Executive Editor. Krim until recently was Assistant Managing Editor of the San Jose Mercury News.

"We are delighted that Jonathan is joining our editorial team," said Dave Kansas, Editor-in-Chief of TheStreet.com. "As we rapidly approach the 100,000 subscriber mark, we are confident that his considerable talents will help TheStreet.com remain at the forefront of financial news and commentary."

Kansas said that Krim, who will supervise the day-to-day news and commentary operations, brings special expertise to help TheStreet.com deepen its coverage of companies, technology, and investigative enterprise. While at the San Jose Mercury News, Krim, oversaw the expansion of the paper's business coverage and was involved in early development of its online product. Krim, 44, earned a journalism degree from the University of Montana and joined the Mercury News in 1983 after working at newspapers in Montana, Arizona and Washington, D.C.
