Two national women's magazine editors have been named to editorial positions with Ingredients.com, a new specialty retail destination launching this fall. Monica Bernstein, formerly a senior editor with Woman's Day will serve as Vice President and Editor in Chief; and Rebecca Nelson, a 10-year veteran in beauty and fashion editorial, was named Beauty and Style Director. Together the editors will spearhead the editorial content for Ingredients.com's soon-to-debut online magazine.

Produced by Ingredients.com, the magazine's mission is to educate consumers about personal care issues. The magazine's editorial will provides advice based on the most current trends, research and expert opinions in the fields of beauty, fitness, nutrition, health and psychology.

"Monica and Rebecca are seasoned magazine editors. They come to us with a proven track record for optimizing traditional editorial formats and re-inventing them as the market evolves," said Katherine Legatos, co-founder and Co-CEO of Ingredients.com. "Their ability to build Ingredients.com's magazine into a leader in the beauty and personal care category will be instrumental to the company's plan for capturing market share and building brand loyalty."

"In the past, print magazines set the standards for editorial style and Web sites borrowed from them. Emerging trends indicate the opposite effect today. Web-based publications are leading the charge for ground-breaking editorial," said Bernstein. "A format that employs fast delivery, multiple points of entry and creative visual cues will support the problem/solution promise that's integral to Ingredients.com's benefits-based goals."
