Posted on August 11, 1999

Tribune Interactive has announced the launch of a DishThis.com, a new teen targeted website. Celebrities, gossip, advice, fashion, movies, music and other teen content will be featured in DishThis, a new website produced by Tribune Interactive for the viewers of Tribune Broadcasting's WB and Fox affiliated television stations.

Nancy Neff, DishThis senior producer, says in a statement, "We know how popular The WB and Fox programs are with viewers, especially the kind of young viewers who appreciate the power of the Web. We're creating a place where they can get a daily connection to the issues and the people who interest them, and a place where they can communicate with each other."

Tribune Interactive brings together the interactive functions of Tribune Company's four newspapers and 17 television stations, as well as other Internet products and services, including BlackVoices.com, Go2Orlando.com and Digital City sites for Chicago, Hampton Roads, Orlando and South Florida. The group also is responsible for developing new Internet products and services.

Update: The DishThis website is no longer available.
