Universal Press Syndicate and APB Online has announced a partnership to deliver APB News Service -- daily and weekly police and crime news and personal safety information -- to U.S. and international newspapers and their websites. Newspaper websites will also distribute APB News content via the UPS Uclick service.

"APB News is characterized by the quality, and the contextual foundation of its reportage, equal to the best crime reporting found in top newspapers, magazines and television broadcasts," said Robert Duffy, director of new media, for UPS. "There's a strong demand for informed and expert police and crime news, and personal safety information, in papers across America. This service gives papers a convenient and economical way to enhance their coverage," said Duffy.

APB News editorial content is created by a team of 19 journalists in APB's New York City newsroom, along with more than 70 crime writer correspondents across the country. In addition to feeding the APB news service being syndicated by UPS, APB News stories appear on APB Online.
