Warner Music Group Announces Ear 1 MusicFest

Warner Music Group, in association with Cornerpost.com, has announced the launch of ear 1 MusicFest '98, a month-long concert festival on the Web. Produced in conjunction with Warner Music Group's labels Warner Bros./Reprise, Elektra, Atlantic, Sire, Rhino and their affiliates, the event features at least one exclusive Webcast each day. Admission to ear 1 MusicFest '98 is free on the Internet.

Visitors to ear 1 MusicFest '98 can view live performances from over 30 stars and newcomers, including Hootie & the Blowfish, Paula Cole, Morcheeba, Guster, Luna, Seven Mary Three, Everything, Royal Crown Revue, Better Than Ezra, Brad Mehldau, Gabriela Anders and many others.

ear 1 Musicfest '98 kicks off Oct. 2 with an exclusive Webcast featuring Hootie & the Blowfish performing live from the House of Blues in Chicago. This cybercast allows viewers to switch among six different live camera feeds to create a custom-tailored viewing experience. Subsequent Webcasts of performances by Third Eye Blind and Soul Coughing also will feature a viewer-controlled multicamera feed.
