Websites Send Password Warnings After Gawker's User Database Hacked

Website like Amazon.com and LinkedIn are warning people to reset their passwords after Gawker's user database was hacked. Gawker uses its own database and comment technology for its network of blogs. The most popular password (see here) used by Gawker community members was "123456." Hopefully, users with these simple password were just using it so they could login and leave a comment and that they don't use this insecure password elsewhere. It is wise to not use the same username or password for online forums that you use elsewhere on the Internet. Take a look:
