WildStorm Joins Marvel Interactive's OverPower Team

Marvel Interactive announced that it has reached an agreement with WildStorm Productions to manufacture and distribute the popular collectible card game OverPower. OverPower is a collectible card game based on comic book properties.

Under the agreement, WildStorm will be responsible for the manufacturing, production, sales, distribution and release marketing for all future OverPower releases. Marvel Interactive will administer the game development and game support issues, including online support, the Legion fan club and a toll-free customer service line. Marvel Interactive is also charged with bringing OverPower into the digital age with CD-ROM and online versions of the game.

Marvel Interactive, a division of the Marvel Entertainment Group, is charged with launching the company's world renowned properties such as Spider-Man, the X-Men and The Incredible Hulk into the global new media marketplace via software publishing, online entertainment and interactive licensing.
